The Making of a Quick Dress

I needed something to make to wear for Tony Howard's Motown Review---Tribute to people like Aretha Franklin, Supremes, Temptations, Marvin Gaye, and the list goes on. Anyway, I used New Look 6774

Thanks Omega! It's one of my favorites, too. I'm truly a pink girl though, :)
Great to hear you had a really nice time with other sewing enthusiasts; have to show us some of those finished projects with the fabric you purchased. I know it was hard not to go wild, LOL!!!

Your dress is so cute, I love the fabric and the color. I'm really lovin' orange these days.

Thanks Jackie,
This is one of those fabrics that I've had for years. It's potential has been many things, but I just kept changing my mind. It's such a nice fabric, I just didn't want it to become a wadder, lol! But, it fit the occassion- something casual, yet classy. I love it!

Your dress looks great! I like the fabric and color too! It's wonderful to be able to go to your fabric collection and find just what you need for any occasion even if it's the day before, LOL!
